2019 Exposome Symposium
Emerging Science and Technology for Effective
Prevention and Healthy Outcomes
May 20-21, 2019
The Mount Sinai Institute for Exposomic Research and the University of Brescia presented the Exposome Symposium: “Emerging Science and Technology for Effective Prevention and Healthy Outcomes”in May 2019. This symposium was designed to be an introduction to exposomics and an opportunity to discuss the challenges of generating high quality, untargeted chemical assays, as well as a discussion of how to use computer science to generate novel, exposure data, wearable devices, and other new methods in the field. Finally, the symposium presented both the strengths of including exposomics in human research and the challenges inherent to study design and bioinformatic analysis of exposomic data.
